Cité de l'espace
Graphic Identity / Museography
Our collaboration with the Cité de l'espace began in 2007 and still continues today. After creating a first exposure, Cosmomania, which was a great success, Cité de l'espace entrusted us with the complete redesign of their graphical chart for exhibitions. This chart is applied to the 4000 m² permanent exhibition areas.
The graphical chart had to be very flexible adapting to the wide variety of media, while being strong enough to create a real attractive and fun atmosphere. We defined 6 color setups corresponding to the 6 large exhibition spaces and easily applicable graphical mechanisms for different media: walls, markings, signs, furniture, touch screens ...
We created the graphics of this space of 450 m², with the theme: all space applications that affect our daily lives (telecommunications, health, environment, agriculture ...).
The 450 m2 area of the Solar System Quay, takes the visitor to a journey through our solar system and beyond! In the center of attention you find the Lunar and Martian missions and the life aboard the ISS.
The 600m2 area of Launch Center, the visitor can discover the history, operation and characteristics of space launching, since the first rocket launchers to the present and future ones.
In addition to the permanent exhibitions, we also created temporary exhibitions, to be shown in Cité de l'espace and other places such as the Cité des Sciences in Paris and abroad.
On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the first woman in space (1963-2013), the Cité de l'Espace created this exhibit honoring Valentina Tereshkova, who was the first, but also to all others that followed for half a century.
This temporary exhibition presented the adventure of going to Mars and the explorer robots that participated. The visitor could compare Earth with his cousin, through interactive and playful installations.
This exhibition present two explorers, the Curiosity rover that was sent to Mars and the Rosetta / Philae duo that went to meet the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
